A book that blew my mind was the series of ‘Twilight’ books by Stephanie Meyer.
Meyer began writing in 2003 during her kids first day at swim lessons.
She claims it all came to her the previous night during a dream. She had never written a book before, just chapters here and there for other pieces that were never completed.
The series fascinating because of its addictive nature. It is full of suspense which constantly leaves the reader on the edge of their seat.
The four part series paints a picture of eternal love between an average human girl and a sparkling (literally), beautiful vampire.
The books have found overwheming success following the release of the 'Twilight' movie last December.
The character of Edward is played by teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson which may have something to do with the renewed success of the literary versions.
The book hypnotizes its reader by allowing them to step into this world based in the US state of Washington.
