Peter Harper is from Dublin and was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, receiving a Joint-Honours BA in Business and Political Science and also has a Diploma in Legal Studies which he earned while working in the Department of Social and Family Affairs.

His main media interests lie in politics, social affairs and law and his experience includes the local newssheet, Raheny News, writing feature and opinion pieces and news items as well interviewing local public figures.

Peter has also written for the Connacht Sentinel on issues such as the Labour Party Convention and Galway AA Annual Convention.

Currently, he is studying for an MA in Journalism at NUI, Galway. He has interviewed the auditors of the ‘Gay in Galway’ society; K.D. Ryan, Manager with Oxfam Ireland, Rachael O’Sullivan, PRO for Oxfam Cork and Galway; and San Kyne, FG Councillor. All items appeared on the local radio station, Flirt FM.
