Martin Nally

Martin Nally is a Masters of Journalism student at NUI Galway.

Hailing from Kilconly, a small close-knit community eight miles outside of Tuam Co. Galway, Martin was educated at St. Patrick’s Secondary School Tuam.

He then went on to complete an Arts Degree in English and Social and Political Science in NUI Galway.

With a strong interest in sports, Martin played rugby for his school for a brief period and also played minor football with his local club.

Combining his love with sports and ambition to become a sports journalist, he became PRO of his local junior rugby club, Tuam RFC, in 2005.

As well as sports, Martin has also a keen interest in music and is a big fan of The Saw Doctors.

He did a radio Documentary on the band entitled Twenty-One Years Travelling with Thoughts and Dreams.
