All-Ireland Finals this St. Patrick's Day

Croke Park will host the traditional All-Ireland Club Finals in hurling and football this coming St. Patrick’s Day

Cork hurling crisis finally comes to an end

Gerald McCarthy has resigned as the Manager of the Cork Senior hurling team bringing the five month dispute in the county to an end.

Dublin and Leinster champions Kilmacud Crokes defeated Crossmaglen Rangers of Armagh to capture the AIB All-Ireland football final in Croke Park on St. Patrick's Day.

It was supposed to be a formality. The winners of the semi-final between Portumna and Ballyhale were shoe-ins for the Tommy Moore Cup. And that's exactly how it turned out as Portumna obliterated Waterford champions De la Salle to make it back to back titles in the St. Patrick's Day show case.
